1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Rewts mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Rewts ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the App and all services, features, and content provided through it. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, do not download, install, or use the App. Your continued use of the App following any updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Rewts is a mobile health and wellness discovery platform designed to help individuals pursue an active, health-focused lifestyle wherever they are. The App enables users to find health-forward locations including gyms, restaurants, run trails, and local markets; log meals with AI-assisted macro estimation; track structured workouts; record GPS-based runs; set personalized fitness goals; and receive macro and nutrition recommendations based on individual profile data. The App is available on iOS and distributed through the Apple App Store.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use Rewts. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 13 years of age or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Users under the age of 18 are encouraged to review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian before using the App. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.

4. Account Registration and Security

To use Rewts, you must register for an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information, including your name and a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your registration information and for updating it promptly if it changes. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it. You agree to notify us immediately at support@rewts.app if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account. Rewts is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Rewts App only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App or any portion thereof;
• Access or attempt to access another user's account, personal data, or any data you are not authorized to access;
• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other means to access or extract data from the service without our prior written consent;
• Upload, transmit, or introduce any malicious code, viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other harmful software or content;
• Impersonate any person or entity, including Rewts, its employees, or other users of the App;
• Use the service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App or its underlying infrastructure, or that could interfere with any other party's use of the service;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, its servers, or any connected system or network;
• Reproduce, distribute, sublicense, or create derivative works from any Rewts content without our express prior written permission.

6. Health and Fitness Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Rewts is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All content provided by or through Rewts — including but not limited to calorie estimates, macro targets, TDEE calculations, recommended daily intake figures, workout information, and venue suggestions — is intended for general informational and wellness purposes only and does not constitute professional medical, dietary, or fitness advice. Individual health, fitness, and nutritional needs vary widely, and the information provided by the App may not be appropriate for every individual.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider, physician, or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, exercise routine, or health practices, particularly if you have a diagnosed medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, are under 18 years of age, or are under medical supervision. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you read or received through the Rewts App. Reliance on any information provided by Rewts is solely at your own risk.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Rewts uses artificial intelligence to estimate nutritional information — including macro and calorie counts — from text descriptions of meals provided by users. These AI-generated estimates are approximations only. They are generated by a language model and may not accurately reflect the actual nutritional content of the foods described, which can vary significantly based on preparation method, portion size, ingredient quality, and other factors. Rewts makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated nutritional estimate.

AI-generated nutritional estimates provided by Rewts are not a substitute for information provided by a registered dietitian, certified nutritionist, or other qualified health professional. You should not rely on AI-generated estimates for medically supervised dietary management, eating disorder treatment, clinical nutrition therapy, or any other medical purpose. Use of AI meal estimation is entirely at your own discretion and risk.

8. Location Services

Rewts requests permission to access your device's location to provide two core features: (1) displaying nearby health-focused venues when you use the Discover tab, and (2) recording your GPS route when you initiate a run. Location data is used solely to provide these features within the App. We do not use your location data for advertising, and we do not share your precise location data with third parties for marketing purposes. You may deny or revoke location permission at any time through your device's iOS Settings. Denying location permission will disable map-based venue discovery and GPS run tracking but will not affect other App features including meal logging, workout logging, and macro tracking.

9. Intellectual Property

The Rewts name, logo, tagline "Take Rewt Wherever You Grow.", App design, user interface, graphics, software, and all related content, trademarks, and trade dress are the exclusive intellectual property of Rewts and are protected by applicable United States and international intellectual property laws, including copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in any Rewts intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any Rewts intellectual property without our prior express written permission.

10. User Content

You retain full ownership of any content you create within the App, including meal log entries, workout notes, and the personal profile information you provide. By using the App, you grant Rewts a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display your content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the Rewts service for you. This license does not grant us the right to sell your personal content, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own purposes. We do not claim ownership of your personal data or user-generated content, and we will not use it beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE REWTS APPLICATION AND ALL RELATED SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REWTS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF NUTRITIONAL OR HEALTH INFORMATION, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. REWTS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED; THAT THE APP OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS; OR THAT THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USING THE APP WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REWTS AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP OR SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PHYSICAL HARM, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR RELIANCE ON INACCURATE NUTRITIONAL, CALORIC, OR HEALTH INFORMATION, EVEN IF REWTS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN JURISDICTIONS WHERE LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IS NOT PERMITTED, REWTS'S LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rewts and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the App or service; (b) your violation of any provision of these Terms of Service; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights. Rewts reserves the right to assume exclusive control of the defense of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense.

14. Termination

Rewts reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the App and service, with or without notice and without liability, for any reason, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms of Service, misuse of the service, fraudulent activity, or any conduct that Rewts determines, in its sole discretion, to be harmful to other users or to the service. You may terminate your account at any time by using the Delete Account feature available in the Profile tab of the App. Termination of your account does not relieve you of any obligations you incurred prior to termination, including any obligations under these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including without limitation Sections 9 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Indemnification), and 15 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution).

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Rewts App that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of competent jurisdiction located in Maryland. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue in such courts. Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@rewts.app and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by sending an email to the address associated with your account, by displaying a prominent notice within the App, or both. The updated Terms will be posted at rewts.app/terms with a new effective date at the top of the document. If you continue to use the App after the effective date of any changes, you are agreeing to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App and may delete your account.
